Albert Hansen

Albert Hansen’s career is built on one consistent thread: turning market complexity into commercial traction. With over two decades in international business — spanning logistics, pharma, academia, and law — he brings to KOMPASSIUM a depth of cross-border experience that is both broad and operationally grounded.

At Lenus Pharma, Albert spent more than 14 years leading international sales and business development across 60+ markets, rising to Managing Director. Before that, his work in international supply chain management at ICL gave him a hands-on understanding of how global operations actually function — a perspective that has consistently informed his strategic decisions. He has built commercial teams, opened new geographies, and navigated the regulatory and cultural complexity that international expansion demands.

Alongside his executive career, Albert pursued an LL.M. in European and International Business Law at the University of Vienna and attended the US IP Law Summer Program at Stanford Law School. His Certificate in Sinology reflects a genuine commitment to understanding the markets he works in, not just selling into them. Since 2019, he has served as External Lecturer at Hochschule Burgenland, teaching International Sales Strategies and Negotiation.

At KOMPASSIUM, Albert strengthens our capabilities in global health markets, particularly in African, Asian, European, and Middle Eastern regions. His combination of commercial leadership, legal fluency, and cross-cultural experience makes him a reliable partner for organizations navigating international growth — from strategy through to execution.

Albert, we’re glad to have you with us. Your experience and pragmatic approach are true examples of our “doers, not sayers” philosophy.
